Usually we try the following: - Log out of our HBO Max account. - Uninstall the HBO Max app. - Reboot the Roku. - Install the HBO Max app. - Log back into our HBO Max account. But now the steps above still left us with the Renew Subscription button when we attempt to watch any content and it's VERY frustrating.
Restart the devices that you want to use with AirPlay or screen mirroring. If you're attempting to stream content to a device you set up in the Home app, check to make sure that Home Settings are not restricting AirPlay. Open the Home app, tap or click the More button, select Home Settings, then select Speakers & TV to adjust your Home Settings
Try restarting the network router. Press the TV button on the remote twice to activate the app launcher, scroll left/right to locate and select the app that you are having a problem with and swipe up to close (quit) it. Relaunch the app from the menu screen to check if it is now working.
Music, apps, and previews are all stereo (2 channel) sound. Some movies rented through AppleTV are available in Dolby Digital surround, which a TV is unable to play. Go to your settings for audio and turn off Dolby Digital and make sure your audio is in 16-bit format. This should solve the problem.
When watching HBO Max content on an Apple TV 4K, once the 'Skip Intro' button appears on screen, hitting the Select/OK button on the Harmony remote just pauses the show and the skip into button just disappears after a few seconds. We have tried using the base IR profile for Apple TV and the Bluetooth profile and both have the same result.
